Faith - Based Organizations
By offering social interaction, life lessons and reinforcing valuable experiences, faith-based organizations play an important role in the lives of families, youths and individuals. So, along with putting together the plans for group retreats, Bible school and choir trips – you should consider doing one more thing to protect your congregation. That’s contacting veriFYI and letting us help ensure your people will be safe.

Unfortunately, faith-based organizations can be susceptible to criminal elements that could potentially prey on their congregants. As a result, many of these organizations use risk management programs to provide a safe environment for their clients and congregations. At veriFYI, we have worked with many faith-based groups from various denominations and we can offer several options for your screening process.

With veriFYI, you’ll have access to:
  • State Records. Most state records show offenses and convictions committed in certain states.  Information is
taken from Department of Corrections records, Sexual
Offense records, Department of Public Safety records,
Bureau of Investigations records or Administrator of the
    Courts records where applicable.

  • Texas State Records.  Available only in Texas.  This
typically includes arrests and convictions, including
adjudicated records and juvenile offenses committed in
Texas.  Information is reported by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).  Aliases, warrants, and other
    information may be included.
No commercial vendor has access to this information!
  • Social Security Trace. To verify identity and ensure that the person being checked is, in fact, who they say they are. This trace includes out-of-state residence information as well.

  • National Database Search of Sex Offender Records. This will scan databases from around the country
to find any record of arrest or conviction of sexual offenses against adults and children and certain sexual
contact and other crimes against victims who are minors.
