The veriFYI Privacy Statement

At veriFYI.org, we understand and respect your concerns about the privacy and protection of any information you supply while on our site.  We believe that knowledge is the key to monitoring and protecting how your information is used on the Internet.  This statement sets forth the veriFYI Privacy Policy and describes the practices veriFYI follows with respect to all visitors to this site. 

Personal Information
veriFYI collects certain personal information from users of this site.  Authorized users must provide certain contact and account information in order to access and download information.  veriFYI may use certain account information of authorized users to set up accounts and inquiries concerning background verification screening.  veriFYI uses this information for internal purposes (to process your request and any invoices, or to maintain or update your veriFYI account). veriFYI does not sell or rent information about its customers to third parties.  veriFYI may share contact information with its partners or affiliates to enable them to conduct background verification screenings.  Profile information (such as social security number and date of birth) in the request form is used by veriFYI for further verification of persons being screened and will be regarded as confidential and will not be shared with any other party outside of the screening process. 

Security
veriFYI has a number of operational functions in place, including 128-bit encryption, to protect the confidentiality of personal information.  However, because perfect security on the Internet does not exist, veriFYI does not warrant that this site is impenetrable or invulnerable to hackers.  

E-Mail
veriFYI does not rent or sell it's E-Mail lists and/or personal information collected on this site.  veriFYI may send an E-Mail to addresses provided to veriFYI in response to inquiries or notification with regards to information submissions.
